Namaste Europe Tours provides comfortable road transportation from Stuttgart to the designated hiking access area and transportation back to Stuttgart after the hike.

Leave Stuttgart early in the morning and travel into Switzerland's beautiful Appenzell region. We take you to Wasserauen, one of the main access points for hiking towards the breathtaking Seealpsee.

Surrounded by the dramatic Alpstein mountains, Seealpsee is famous for its emerald-green water and spectacular alpine scenery. Namaste Europe Tours provides transport to and from the hiking area — guests complete the hike independently.

Travel from Stuttgart into the Allgäu Alps and reach the mountain village of Hinterstein, the starting area for the spectacular Schrecksee hike.

Hidden high in the Allgäu Alps, Schrecksee is famous for its turquoise-green water, alpine scenery and small island. Unlike Seealpsee, this is a demanding mountain hike and should only be attempted by people with suitable fitness and hiking experience.

Namaste Europe Tours provides transportation to the publicly accessible hiking starting area in Hinterstein and transportation back to Stuttgart. NO HIKING GUIDE IS INCLUDED.

Important Information for Hiking Trips

Namaste Europe Tours provides transportation to and from the designated hiking access point only unless a guided hiking service is explicitly stated in the individual trip description.

Our Saxer Lücke, Seealpsee and Schrecksee trips do not include a hiking guide, mountain guide, hiking supervision, route navigation or mountain rescue service. Participants undertake the hiking activity independently and voluntarily.

Each participant is personally responsible for:

  • choosing an appropriate hiking route
  • checking current trail conditions
  • checking the weather forecast
  • assessing their own physical fitness
  • assessing their hiking experience
  • wearing appropriate footwear
  • carrying appropriate clothing and equipment
  • carrying sufficient food and water
  • navigation
  • deciding whether to continue or turn back
  • returning to the agreed meeting point on time

The hiking distances, durations, difficulty levels and elevation information displayed on our website are general information only. Actual conditions can change because of weather, snow, rain, trail closures, construction, landslides or other circumstances. Participants should always consult current official local trail and weather information before beginning a hike.

Namaste Europe Tours does not provide personal hiking, health, travel, mountain rescue or accident insurance as part of these trips. Guests are strongly encouraged to arrange suitable personal travel, health, accident and mountain rescue insurance where appropriate. Any legally mandatory liability and any liability which cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

The driver normally remains with the vehicle and does not accompany guests on the hiking trail unless this has been expressly agreed in writing. Participants who do not feel comfortable with the conditions should not undertake or should discontinue the hike.
